What is the first thing that comes to mind when you read, I AM ____________? 
DETERMINED TO FULFILL MY PURPOSE

What event or moment occurred that led you to your passion and what is your passion? 
My passion is storytelling/filmmaking. I’ve been passionate about storytelling since I was 7. I was the child that spent most of her time in the land of “make believe.” At first I wanted to be an actress, then it shifted to a talk show host like Oprah. I leaned towards filmmaking in high school. I started to study how films were made etc. Now, I can't see myself doing anything other than creating and telling stories to share with the world.

What key elements, actions, etc., helped you overcome the obstacles in your life? 
My main key element is my faith. God has always and continues to guide me through life. He’s also surrounded me with family and friends who believe and support me which is always a blessing during hard times. As long as I keep my eye on the Lord, I know anything is possible.

What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned from a past experience that you carry with you when making the next move in life? 
One lesson I’ve learned from past experiences is that, “the lack of money doesn’t prevent you from walking out your dream, it’s you.”

SCREAMM stands for Self Awareness, Creativity, Reflection in Nature, Expression, Art, Music, Mindful Living. What relationship do you have with these components in your life? Please explain how any of 7 components impacted your life.

First and foremost, I am always trying to remain in a state of self awareness. As a creator, it is important that we understand our environment and what's happening around the world. Eventually everything affects us no matter if it's directly or indirectly.

I am a creative, so that's my life. I personally wouldn't know how to operate if I wasn't.

As a believer and creator, nature has played a significant role in my life. God is the ultimate creator and nature is just a taste of God. It also contributes to my creative process.

Overall, expression, art, and music combined helps put me in a free state of mind. It helps me tap into my creative side and pour out with ideas.
